Speaker - Dari Matilsky
Dari Matilsky holds a bachelor’s degree in voice performance from Berklee College of Music and completed her post-baccalaureate coursework in communication sciences and disorders at CUNY Queens College. Beginning in January 2019, she will be pursuing her Master of Arts in speech-language pathology at CUNY Lehman College.
As a trained vocalist and musician, Dari combined her performance expertise with her love of voice science and health to create Vocal Roots. She is a member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and attends the NYC Voice Study Group. Dari has also volunteered with The Voice Foundation, and has shadowed countless voice pathologists and teachers. She is committed to expanding her knowledge of the field and looks forward to becoming an ASHA-certified, NYS-licensed speech-language pathologist upon completion of her master’s program.
